EVX
EVX is a private EVM-compatible layer 2 associated with the BTX ecosystem. A testnet has been live since July 2026. The network is not publicly accessible, and public documentation is limited; this entry records only what its maintainers have stated.
EVM compatibility means the network executes Ethereum Virtual Machine bytecode, so contracts and tooling built for Ethereum-style chains can target it. BTX itself has no smart contract layer; its base chain is a UTXO design with covenant opcodes but no general-purpose execution. EVX is the component of the ecosystem that provides contract execution, layered separately from base-chain consensus, an architecture also seen among other post-quantum blockchains that keep their base layer minimal.
Because the network is private, there is no public endpoint, block explorer, or contract deployment access, and its properties cannot yet be independently verified. No public access date or feature commitments have been announced, and none are described here.
